Dr. Mitch Taillon
President

The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mitch Taillon as the CDA President for 2018-2019. Dr. Taillon graduated from dental school at the University of Saskatchewan in 1984 and practiced general dentistry in Assiniboia, SK.

Dr. Taillon was elected to the council of the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan in 2003 and was elected as the President of the College in 2008 and 2009. Dr. Taillon was appointed to the Canadian Dental Association Board of Directors in 2010 and elected Vice President of CDA in 2016.

As CDA President, Dr. Taillon will lead the organization in its mandate as the national voice for dentistry, dedicated to the advancement and leadership of a unified profession and to the promotion of optimal oral health, an essential component of general health. He looks forward to meeting with MPs and government of officials during CDA’s Days on the Hill this week.
