Manager, Communications and Marketing
CPAC, the Cable Public Affairs Channel, is Canada’s window on Parliament, politics and public affairs. Owned and operated by Canadian cable companies, we are the only media organization in the country providing unbiased, unfiltered and uninterrupted coverage of Parliament, as well as of the people and the policies driving the national agenda.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive publicity, promotions and social media plan to increase awareness and tune-in of CPAC programming
- Oversee the implementation of CPAC’s corporate and media communications strategies including external events and sponsorships
- Foster relationships with Parliamentarians, media, influences and stakeholders. Represent CPAC at trade and government relations events
You are fluently bilingual with 3-5 years experience in communications and/or public relations. You have excellent writing and presentation skills in both English and French, and a passion for politic and public affairs. You bring established relationships with media and key stakeholders within the federal political sphere.
