Reader Sales & Licensing Executive
OVERVIEW
Hill Times Publishing is seeking a full time Reader Sales & Licensing Executive to join our team.
We’re looking for a friendly person who isn’t afraid to cold-call a high level executive. Possibly someone who is looking to get out of retail and into the stability of a 9-5 workplace. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate successful skills in sales and marketing, provide impeccable customer service and perform a number of administrative duties.
Hill Times Publishing is a fast-paced work environment where we publish multiple niche publications: The Hill Times, The Wire Report, The Lobby Monitor, Parliament Now and Hill Times Research Health. Our main publication, The Hill Times, is a fast-paced, twice-weekly newspaper in Ottawa covering Parliament Hill, the federal government, and federal politics for a readership that includes cabinet ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators and their staff; federal public servants; political insiders; lobbyists; foreign diplomats posted to Canada; industry associations; authors; journalists; and academics.
Responsibilities:
– Selling access to all of our publications over the phone.
– Nurture and build sales leads.
– Provide customer service for clients as needed.
– Perform administrative duties daily.
– Data entry.
– Review and answer all correspondence in a timely manner.
– Attend events, in-person meetings with clients.
Qualifications:
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
– Excellent interpersonal proficiency.
– Ability to perform routine administrative support duties.
– Well organized with the ability to set priorities accordingly.
– Experience providing customer service.
– Proven sales and marketing experience required.
– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Google Docs, Google Sheets,
Google Calendar, LinkedIn, internet-based research tools, etc, is essential.
– Must be able to adapt to on-going changes and growth in the role and duties in a
dynamic environment.
