Dairy Farmers of Canada is the national policy, lobbying and promotional organization representing Canadian dairy producers. DFC strives to create stable conditions for the dairy sector in our country. It also seeks to maintain policies that promote the sustainability of Canadian dairy production and promote dairy products and their health benefits.
Senior Director, Public Affairs
We are currently seeking a bilingual Senior Director, Public Affairs to join our Executive Team based in Ottawa. The Senior Director is accountable for the development and execution of DFC’s public communications and federal government relations strategy. The Senior Director will assess opportunities and risks in these areas, bring a strategic focus and discipline, and ensure alignment with the respective department and overall organization’s purpose and strategic plan to reach the optimum results. The Senior Director will lead the respective Directors responsible for the execution of advocacy communications and government relations, with an eye to supporting ongoing professional growth and development.
