CCGA is seeking a Vice-President, Government & Industry Relations
CCGA’s dedicated advocacy team ensures the voices of Canada’s 40,000 canola farmers are represented in national policy discussions impacting their livelihood.
Step into a senior leadership role where purpose and impact for
Canadian agriculture go hand-in-hand, and where strategic thinking,
collaboration, and accountability are central to the work. Reporting to the
President & CEO, the Vice-President will lead CCGA’s government
relations strategies and team, build collaborative relationships to advance
agriculture policies impacting canola farmers, and manage CCGA’s
Government Relations office in Ottawa.
The ideal candidate has a desire to make a difference in the success of Canada’s farmers, has 15 years of progressive experience and education, a proven track record of influencing policy and legislation, and a deep understanding of political and regulatory processes. Excellent
communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to travel.
This is a permanent role based in Ottawa.
