Deacon shares, 'A few years back, Matthew Perry conducted tests to twist wood reliably. One sample, five 30cm ash pieces, each twisted 180, captivated me. Cast in concrete, it retains its simplicity, evoking the grandeur of brutalist architecture.' Deacon, a renowned British sculptor since the 1980s, has written extensively on art and participated in global exhibitions. His work has been recognized with prestigious awards. This hand-cast concrete piece measures 11.50 x 8.54 x 1.46 inches (29.2 x 21.7 x 3.7 cm) and is part of an edition of 50.
