- [Must haves for Gravity Racing] These weights are very well made. They are smooth polished Solid Carbon Steel with very accurate dimensions. The diameter of the weights are 10 mm which fit nicely in 3/8" holes. They are very non-magnetic. They come in a strong little plastic box.
- [Variety of Weights for Customization] They come in five Weights: 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 3/16 oz, 1/8 oz, and 1/16 oz. Simply drill a 3/8-inch hole in the body of the car (preferably about 3/4 inch in front of the rear axle), then press the counterweight into it. They fit so snugly that you don’t even need to use glue. They’ll stay firmly in place.
- [Well-machined and Safe to Handle] One major advantage of using stainless steel for these counterweights is that they are easier to polish than tungsten alloy. If you end up overweight and have a little material sticking out, you can take a good file to it and remove a few tenths of an ounce pretty quickly. That flexibility is nice on race day.
