Add more for burrowing and digging species, such as sand boas and bearded dragons. Remove debris as needed and replace completely every 6 months or sooner if a foul odor develops.</p><strong>Warning</strong><p>If your animal consistently ingests substrate, review its heat, UVB, diet, and hydration needs.
